At Chughtai International School, language is at the heart of thinking, learning and building relationships. In our Early Years environment, and as an IB World School offering the Primary Years Program, children develop language naturally and joyfully, through play, inquiry, conversation, and meaningful real-world experiences. 

We view language not simply as a subject, but as a powerful tool for expressing ideas, making sense of the world and forming identity. Our classrooms are warm, language-rich spaces filled with stories, songs, dialogue and opportunities to share thinking. From the earliest years, children learn to communicate with confidence, kindness and curiosity. 

English is the primary language of instruction, while Urdu, the home language for many of our learners, is recognized, valued and actively nurtured. Children are encouraged to celebrate their linguistic identities, speak proudly in their mother tongue and gradually develop fluency in English through immersion, support and purposeful use. Gentle exposure to additional global languages is introduced through stories, rhymes, visuals and playful interactions.
