Dr Akhtar Sohail Chughtai

Visionary pathologist Dr Akhtar Sohail Chughtai, a distinguished graduate of King Edward Medical College, has transformed healthcare in Pakistan with an unwavering focus on quality patient care. After steering Chughtai Lab’s unprecedented rise from a small three-room facility into a nationwide healthcare leader, he now aims to similarly uplift the nation’s young through world-class education. Chughtai International School – Pakistan’s first IB Early Years Candidate School – embodies his vision for the nation. With Uqaabi, the School mascot eaglet, he pays tribute to Allama Iqbal’s Shaheen: a timeless metaphor for excellence.
